DESCRIPTION
An estate cru from 100% Sangiovese and the ultimate expression of ColleMassari’s regenerative vision, Poggio Lombrone originates from one of the estate’s oldest vineyards, planted over seventy years ago on sandstone and calcareous-marly clay soils. Vinification takes place in small wooden vats using traditional methods – including manual punchdowns – followed by over two years of ageing in large Slavonian oak casks.
